Separation patterns in new urban blocks are the result of repetitive "infill" buildings that, without any effort to define the remaining empty spaces in the city, each build their own and ultimately do not lead to the formation of a "neighborhood". "Merge" and redefinition of "foot print" is an opportunity to study urban spaces, change and legibility in the skyline, and ultimately define a part of the neighborhood as a community. The "Facing Sun Houses" project is the result of the merge and redesign of several adjacent urban plots, which were supposed to have different destinies.
